It's an extremely smooshy hide with great character. No signs of wear at all! If you didn't know you would think it was new. Submitted Questions: Q: The design card says nylon zipper. Is the zipper itself nylon or metal? A: There are two zippers. The nylon zippers refers to the zipper on the inside of the bag, which you can see well in the second photo. The external zipper at the top of the bag is indeed metal, which can also be seen well in the second photo, above the nylon zipper. Q: Does the recessed zipper affect the drape of the bag at all? Zips smoothly? I usually prefer the magnetic snap, but this bag looks beautiful! A: The zip is smooth and optional because it is sunken, it does minimally affect drape on drapey leather but this is a mont blanc so it is stiffer and the impact is pretty minor. Q: Are there inside pockets other than the zippered one? A: Yes, 4 slip pockets and the zip pocket. I will add an interior shot with pockets. Q: When it says the strap is 23” at the shortest, does that mean your custom is a longer or shorter strap than R&T would normally put on this bag? A: A few inches shorter so that it can be a good length for shoulder carry at it's shortest.
